ToT Program on PFM and Budget Cycle

Client: Ministry of Finance and Parliamentary Budget Office  DATE: June 2021

  • The Training of Trainers (ToT) Program on Public Financial Management and Budget Cycle targeted staff from the Ministry of Finance and Parliamentary Budget Office to build their capacity in budget formulation, execution, and oversight. Organized by Waayeel Consulting with funding from the World Bank’s Regional Communications Infrastructure Program (RCIP)
Customer Relationship Management Programs

Client: Dahabshiil Bank International   
We delivered customer service training program for Dahabshil Bank Staff. This was designed to equip the team with the skills and knowledge they need to provide exceptional service to their customers. Through a combination of interactive workshops and practical exercises, participants learned how to communicate effectively with customers, handle challenging situations, and exceed customer expectations.

Risk Management Training

Client: Premier Bank  
This Training for Premier Bank Staff focused on developing a comprehensive understanding of risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to manage risks effectively in the banking industry. The training also covered the regulatory requirements and compliance measures that banks must follow to ensure legal and ethical operations. By providing this training, Premier Bank aims to improve its overall risk management and compliance framework, which will enhance its reputation as a reliable and trustworthy financial institution.

Planning & Organizing Workshops

Client: Telesom Company   
Telesom Company has requested planning and organizing workshops for their commercial departments (ZAAD & Sales). The workshops focused on improving the skills of their staff in planning, organizing, sales, marketing, and customer service. The goal of the program was to improve the performance and productivity of the commercial departments of the company.

The program involved training employees on effective communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, as well as implementing feedback mechanisms to capture and address customer feedback. Additionally, the program will focus on continuous improvement, with regular assessments and updates to ensure that the company is meeting its customer service goals and delivering a positive customer experience.

Advanced Excel Training

Client: Somtel 

This training covered advanced functions and formulas, data visualization techniques, data analysis tools, and automation with macros. Participants learned how to manage large datasets, work with multiple sheets and workbooks, and create custom charts and graphs

Strategic Communications & Reporting

ClientCommission of Anti-corruption and Good Governance  

The Strategic Communications and Reporting Workshop for the Somaliland Anti-corruption Commission was designed to provide participants with practical skills and knowledge to effectively communicate and report on anti-corruption efforts across the country. The workshop topics include stakeholder analysis, message development, media relations, transparency, accountability, role of social media, and reporting on progress and impact.

The Managerial Skills Training program for Jamhuriya University aims to equip the university’s managers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage their teams and departments. The training covers topics such as leadership, communication, time management, decision making, problem-solving, and teamwork. This training aims to equip the company’s staff with the necessary skills to manage their time effectively and increase their productivity. This training highlighted how to set priorities, manage workload, eliminate distractions, and develop good time management habits.

Y-PEER launched an employment program to empower youth with job skills such as CV writing and interview techniques. They offer mentorship and job placement support leading to successful job placements and increased confidence among participants.
